08 Sep Shocking San Francisco!
As much as everybody seems shocked by the number of homeless people you can find in San Francisco, my shock is relative to the amount of beautiful people per square mile you can find in SF!
Honestly, I’ve travelled around the world and always seem to find at least a handful of very smart pretty women. Of course I’ve found them here as well. But what I am confounded with is the number of handsome, intelligent and authentic men in this city. Based on the people I had the chance to meet in my couple first weeks here, as funny as it may sound, I find that SF is very unique for its high concentration of outstanding men ! I wish we had that ratio in Montreal! (Usually great food puts a smile back on any frustrated woman’s face, so, I guess that must be how we compensate back home.)
No but seriously, I have notice that one thing that most people have in common in SF, including these handsome-clever men, is that they are not from SF. BUT, they came here with a purpose. They choose to be here. They have goals. They succeeded at least in moving out here. And that makes them proud to be citizen of San Francisco! To me, this easily explains why people look beautiful & nice here. I believe that, when you’ve gone through the struggle of assuming big decision you’ve taken in your life, like a lot of people who moved here, you carry yourself with an air of confidence + you tend to be curious about the goals of others & can easily empathise because you’ve been there!
Result : you look beautiful and you are nice!
Ok, maybe I’ve just been very lucky at meeting great people… or the fact that I just got back from Burning Man makes me see people in a “pinker” light … Anyways, my next few posts will discuss various aspect of my experience at Burning Man.
Have a great week!
