Skywalk bridge Grand Canyon

If any of my fellow student are thinking about going to some of the national parks and canyons around Arizona and Utah, I thought I could write what I thought about the places we are visiting during fall break.
Yesterday we went to the skywalk bridge in west Grand Canyon, and the area around it. We were really surprised when we got there that we weren’t allowed to drive around there ourself but had to buy some kind of tour. They had a few packages to choose between, were both busses and helicopters were options. Since we imagined it to be for free, and because we didn’t have that much time before dark, we chose the cheapest one. You got to go around in busses to three stops we’re the skywalk was one of them – and the price was $50. Just to be able to walk on the bridge it was an extra $20, and no cameras were allowed, so we didn’t do that. But the view was breath taking. Really beautiful! The skywalk was smaller than we thought too, so we were glad that we didn’t buy tickets there, and it was also super crowded up there. Just to stand next to it and walk around that area was good enough!
I would recommend people to go to the skywalk, but I don’t really think it was worth the money. We got some beautiful pictures and views I’ll never forget, so in that way I really enjoyed it, but people should be prepared to pay the money.
