Souvla #2

Continue the topic of the SF local greek food joint:”souvla”,Once you try greek food.you need to try the greek wine(make sure to be 21 to drink!)

Thus,the most special wine there is the “Retsina”which is a wine with the flavor of resin.(really weird huh?).Well,its unique flavor is said to have originated from the practice of sealing wine vessels,no cork before,so they guarantee quality with rosin covering in ancient times.Althought we do have the cork,the Greeks still love this past taste.

I must say A LOT of people actually don’t like the rosin flavor in wine,so just try a little bit first time.
