Step 2: Los Angeles

Hi everyone !

For those who don’t remember or who had not read my “Step 1” post, here is a little reminder. I want to share with you my spring break experiences through Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and Road California 1 !

So we left Las Vegas by bus in the night and we arrived around 9 am at Los Angeles where we stayed in the hostel waiting for a friend and our check-in. I’ll put the link of the hostel at the end of this article. It is a very well situated hostel (on Hollywood boulevard !) with good prices and nice people.

We spent 4 days and we did not have the time to see everything. Of course we walked on Hollywood boulevard and the walk of fame. I recommend you to do it around 8pm or 8:30 because it is more beautiful by night. We went to the hollywood letters but unfortunately we did not find the right path to be as close as we wanted. We also spent an afternoon in Beverly Hills. It is a very cute neighborhood with a lot of shops, cafés and luxury boutiques.

The next day we went to Universal studios and we totally enjoyed it. For those who are Harry Potter’s fans, you should know that they have already open the Harry Potter World (even if the Grand opening is on April 7th). There was not too many people, the attractions are great, the decorations fabulous and you can do the entire park in one day. If you go to Los angeles for more than two days, I highly recommend you to go there !

The last day we went to Santa Monica beach, Santa Monica pear and Venice Beach. These places are gorgeous. Both atmosphere and people are great and the beaches are amazing. However I recommend you to go to Venice beach during the day and not at night because there are a lot of homeless people and it can be scary, especially if you are only girls.

To be continued …

Good adresses :
