Thanksgiving

Hi. This is Akari.

I’m an exchange student from Japan, so honestly this was my first time to experience thanksgiving. (off course, there is no thanksgiving in Japan)

I spent the day at my friend’s place, and her family members explained what thanksgiving is to me. Then I thought thanksgiving in the US is like Japanese new year. For Japanese, new year is the most important holiday in the year and spend most of the time with family members. Someone go travels, or someone hold a big family new year party. See, it’s like thanksgiving in US.

Thanks to my friend, I could fully experienced thanksgiving; turkey, pumpkin pie and american football game on TV.lol

when I ask my frinds that “Are you going to join in black Friday sales?” nobody said “Yes, I am”… then who is gonna join in? I just wonder…
