28 Aug The first two weeks
Exactly two weeks ago I arrived at San Francisco International Airport and a lot has happened since then. I moved into my room on campus, met my roommates and attended the orientation week.
I went to see the famous see lions at the pier, ordered a drink at the Hard Rock Café, visited Dolores Park and walked to the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge. I also went to a bunch of ‘famous American restaurants’ like Cheesecake Factory and got drinks at Q Bar and Buckshot bar with lots of other international students.
I really like the city so far and I can’t wait to explore it more. I’m also excited to see more of the rest of America. My roommates and I are making plans to go to Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Maybe even Hawaii. I’m thrilled to see what the rest of the semester will bring me.
I’m Elisa, a 21-year old girl from the Netherlands. I study journalism and I’m here for the fall semester.
