Tip #4: The Mission District and burritos

In Norway, our late night food – coming drunk out of bars and clubs – are kebabs. It’s a really good and easily accessible late night food, but I would take the San Francisco burritos any night.

The best ones are located in the historical neighborhood commonly called The Mission. The area used to have a bed reputation, today it’s just a insanely cool place, filled to the brim with restaurants, art galleries, relaxed young people, and AMAZING taquerias. La Taqueria and El Farolito (located on each side of the 24th&Mission Bart Station) was the two first I got introduced to. I went back to both.

But just in general, amazing burritos, filled with great ingridients. I love food, as you might see, and I’ve eaten beef, pork, chicken, beef check, pork brain, beef tongue – everything fits in a good burrito.

I had heard rumors about the burritos before arriving in San Francisco, and they really do fulfill your expectations. The hamburgers and pizzas was a let-down to be honest, but the burritos are grand, glorious and amazing. I will truly miss them, both sober and drunk.
