20 Oct Treasure Island Music Festival

I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Saturday of Treasure Island Music Festival over the weekend, and it really was such a fun event. For one, I still can’t believe there is actually a place called Treasure Island. The view from the island was amazing, you could see the whole of the city from across the Bay Bridge, and the sunset was beautiful.

The acts were great, I didn’t know many of them but I really enjoyed their sets! The artists I saw included Ratking, Mo, Jungle, Janelle Monae and, of course, Outkast. All of the acts were really visual, so were really fun to watch.

I have to admit, one of my favourite parts of the whole festival was the food: I had my native Greek food and it made me super homesick.

I really enjoyed the chilled vibes of the festival as it was so relaxed, which I prefer. I usually find festivals and shows way too intense, but this one was just right.
