Women’s March in San Francisco

Women’s March in San Francisco

Yesterday, 21st January 2017 was my first time in a protest, whatever it is!

It was really important for me to go to this one to obviously make my woman’s voice heard, to show my indignation against this new form of power that will reign in the United States over the next 4 years, at least (which for me is totally out of phase with our modern, free and respectful society today …)

But unfortunately what is done is done, what remains to be done is to prove that we are always there, that our voice counts and that we will not be ignored!

I found this protest movement incredibly fascinating! The American population was fully invested in this march, shouting slogans more revolting than others, waving an incredible number of colourful placards, proudly displaying their femininity and commitment to this cause with the famous Pink Pussy Hat.

Coming from France, I have never seen such enthusiasm in a popular movement. My french friends and I were completely transported by this engaging crowd. We were so amazed all afternoon and I was personally honoured to be able to take part of this demonstration (which is very important for me), in the United States, and especially in San Francisco where the atmosphere was the coolest.

Thanks America for giving us this!
