Despite how much I love living in the city, with so much vibrance and energy running through it constantly, it was so lovely to escape and hustle and bustle and smell the fresh air and hear nothing but birds and wind. Yosemite National Park was incredible, so serene and peaceful, it’s amazing how beautiful nature can really be.

We hired a car from San Francisco at 7am on Friday morning and embarked on the long drive, staying overnight not far from the park. Such an amazing experience! If you haven’t been yet, i suggest you do before your time here is up.

Tip: it’s a lot cheaper staying just outside the park, if you have a car you can drive in and out as many times as you wish in 7 days with one pass :)
