14 May You’re the One that I Want Woohoohoo Honey

Hey Folks,

My friends and I went to a Grease Sing Along at the Castro Theater a few weeks back and we had the best time. For those of you who don’t know the concept, they play the movie and add subtitles for the songs so that everyone can sing along (hence the name). You should definitely try seeing something at the Castro Theater, it is beautiful inside!

The event also included a costume contest which was really fun. Everyone would come up on stage and do a little dance in their costume. The best one was this little girl dressed up as Danny, with a leather jacket that said trouble maker. We were also given goodie bags with props to use during the movie. We had Danny’s comb, a homecoming queen crown, glowing sticks, bubble makers, confetti…

We had a lot of fun, everyone was playing the game, singing the songs, some people even knew the dialogs by heart. It was funny and kind of weird to see how many generations were here to enjoy the movie, from kids to grandparents. If they still sell tickets for the show, run!
