Breakfasts of SF

So, I’m continuing my food-blogging, moving from last post’s burgers to my favorite breakfast places! For those who know me, it’s probably not a surprise that I am dedicating a blog post to breakfast. I love breakfast and brunch, and I am pretty sure that I could survive on only breakfast food my whole life if I had to. It’s hard to beat the atmosphere at a really good, long breakfast, with black coffee on the side and some newspapers in the other hand.

Therefore I give you, my top breakfast/brunch places in San Franciso:

  • Jane’s

Why? Even though the area, Tenderloin, is not the nicest, this cute little lunch place is worth a visit.

What to order? Their avocado toast with poached egg is one of the best I’ve ever tried.

  • Mission Beach Cafe

Why?  A charming cafe with nice staff and great food (but avoid the busiest brunch-hours, the place will be packed!).

What to order? The omelette with goat cheese – you will not be disappointed.

  • Mo’z

Why? Mo’z has a special place in my heart, as it was one of the first places I went to in SF. I sat her for several hours searching the web for a place to rent – and Mo’z provided me lots of space, good wifi and several free coffee refills. Great place for working!

What to order? I’ve had pancakes, eggs, bacon and juice, all very decent. Maybe not the most exciting food, but absolutely good taste.

  • Brenda’s French Soulfood

Why? Go there, eat the food and you will see why. Brenda’s is just amazing, also for dinner. Definitely worth the long line!

What to order? You could go for anything, I’m sure it will taste delicious either way.
