17 Oct IEEC Movie Nights
Every Thursday, the IEEC organizes an International Movie Night in the Cesar Chavez Center. I’ve been to these Movie Nights three times and in this blog post I’ll discuss some of the movies we watched there.
Quién te cantará
Quién te cantará is a Spanish movie about a famous singer named Lila. After an accident she suffers from amnesia. Her biggest fan, Violeta helps Lila relearn her songs.
Delicatessen
Delicatessen is a French movie about a landlord of an apartment building who occasionally prepares a delicacy for his odd tenants. The movie was quite bizarre, yet very interesting.
Cold War
Cold War is a Polish movie set in the 1950s. A music director falls in love with a with a singer and tries to persuade her to flee communist Poland for France. The movie was completely in black and white, which made it even more interesting.
